EOC Labs — Peptide Draw & Dose Calculator

Select parameters to calculate concentration and syringe draw (U-100: 100 units = 1 mL). Educational math tool for laboratory research only.

Step 1 — Select Dose

Choose a dose (mg) or enter “Other”.

— mcg

Step 2 — Vial Strength

Total peptide in vial (mg).

Meter assumes a U-100 insulin syringe where 100 units = 1.0 mL. If your result exceeds 100 units, use the mL value shown and an appropriate syringe size.

1

Select dose

Pick a standard dose button or enter a custom dose in mg. Tool shows mcg equivalent.

2

Enter vial strength

Select your vial’s total amount (mg). Determines material available for dilution.

3

Set water volume

Enter bacteriostatic water (mL). More water lowers concentration; less increases it.

4

Read the meter

Review units + mL. Meter visualizes 0–100 units for a U-100 syringe.

Education: What the calculator is doing (math-only)
  • Concentration (mg/mL) = Vial strength (mg) ÷ Water (mL)
  • Volume to draw (mL) = Dose (mg) ÷ Concentration (mg/mL)
  • Units (U-100) = Volume (mL) × 100
  • Doses per vial ≈ Vial strength (mg) ÷ Dose (mg)
Reconstitution BasicsLyophilized handling

Many research peptides are supplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) material. Reconstitution is adding a sterile diluent to create a solution for lab workflows.

Best-practice handling
  • Verify vial label (mg amount) and confirm diluent volume before mixing.
  • Aseptic technique: disinfect stopper; use sterile needles/syringes; clean surface.
  • Add diluent slowly down vial wall to reduce foaming.
  • Mix gently: swirl/roll until clear; avoid vigorous shaking unless SOP requires it.
Note: Follow your lab SOP and compound handling guidance when available.
Storage GuidelinesStability

Storage needs can vary by peptide and solvent. Use as general education and defer to lab SOP.

Lyophilized (dry)
  • Store cold, dry, protected from light when applicable.
  • Minimize temperature cycling; keep sealed.
After reconstitution
  • Many labs refrigerate; minimize freeze-thaw; aliquot when appropriate.
  • Label compound, concentration, solvent, and prep date/time.
